Hello everyoneπ
This is group H; we would like to share with you some of the applications that helped us improve our English skills, and helped us practice the language, we will generally talk about the applications, and haw each application helped us develop a certain skill ;)
Youglish
There are a lot of applications and websites programmed to improve your second language learning/acquisition. But, access is usually through a subscription. Unfortunately, there are many people they can't buy. Actually, there are many applications and websites available free online with limited functionality. But it might serve a purpose; luckily, one of the free websites is ( Youglish ). is an online tool designed to help its users improve their pronunciation in their target language.
Use YouGlis to improve your English pronunciation. With more than 100M tracks, YouGlish gives you fast, unbiased answers about how English is spoken by real people and in context. This isn't just spoken by people from the local country, though. You can also get pronunciations from different places around the world.
This tool uses YouTube to provide the accepted pronunciation of words in various languages such as English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, and many more. And this is one of the essential features.
The way to use it is very easy, fast, and simple. You can use it at any time and anywhere. You have to choose the word that you want to know how you can pronounce, and it will give you many audio clips, so you can pick one.
BBC Learning English
Since 1943, BBC Learning English has been teaching English to global audiences as part of the BBC World Service, providing free audio, video, and text materials to learners all around the world.
This application is really efficient due to the fact that it provides you with many and different lessons, for example, it gives you the name of the lesson, and you can hear the lesson and listen to the conversation and read the subtitles simultaneously while providing you with the transcript down below the video so you can read along while you listen and learn grammar as will.
This application assists with the development of your reading abilities, which are one of the most crucial skills to have while acquiring any language.
To begin, when you join up, you must pick a category of whatever you want to see on your timeline. However, the interesting aspect of this application is that it is represented in a comedic way, such as -internet meme-, which is a bunch of funny quotes.
It is also international, and you might even read all of the world's news.
Any post can also be commented on, liked, disliked, or shared. Everything in this application helps you to practice reading well without feeling pressured.
Hi group F ππ»πI'm Shahad from group A I really like the design of your blog it's warm and friendly π₯° I enjoy reading it because of the interesting information that you have covered. I would like to Spot the light on some points. The First one is Duolingo application it’s a really useful tool for learning and enhancing your skills but it doesn’t have a really important element which is +feedback*. Second, Reddit application has a lot of interesting topics that deals with different areas therefore, it requires your time to find what’s a suitable article for your current level. The last and the well-known application cambly it has that many advantages but there is some point that the learner will struggle with it such as, difficult to schedule with your favorite tutor especially if they are popular among the learners, in addition, the price it deals huge effects in the learning process they can not continue learning because of this.
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys for your effort and Knowledge .keep up the good workπͺπ»π
I mean Group H***π

ReplyDeleteI’m Maha from group A. I would like to thank you all for your amazing blog. It’s well organized and i liked reading it. I agree with you that Cambly is a great app for learning a new language. Cambly's best feature is its flexibility; you can log in and find a tutor at your convenience also It is a great experience to meet people from all around the world and learn more about cultures in different countries without travelling.
Hello group H I’m Afnan from group F thank you all for your beautiful blog. It’s well organized and i liked reading it. I agree with you on the all application, but
ReplyDeleteYouTube and BBC it can help with listening, but can’t help with writing and speaking.
Hi group H this is Amal Almalki from group F. I appreciate the way you talked about free tools that do not require a cost to access them which is more useful in a financial way, but some of them have drawbacks, such as the lack of feedback. However, the Reddil program is very interesting and entertaining, although it has advantages, it doesn’t have an empirical development that improves your pronunciation, fluency and speaking communication skill. Duolingo is a good app for novice learners and it helps with all learning skills! I used to learn from it. Thank you for your great work it’s so niceπ₯°
ReplyDeleteHello group H ,this is ahad from group F.
ReplyDeleteI like the topic you chose it’s interesting and i found some new applications that i didn’t know it was exciting such as , youglish . I like all of the websites and applications you choose and they all easy to use although some of them needs a subscription but there are other options to learn language. I’ve only used Duolingo and i love it even though it’s not that efficient but it helped me to learn a few words in French . There is few negativity from it is the “addiction” on internet and not correcting the spelling live like teachers do in class . Thanks alot for your effort and keep the good work .ππ»
Hello group H I'm Ghada alzahrani from group D , I loved the variety of programs and how they suit all ages, but i think you forgot an important skill that maybe this app doesn't give it the right attention which is writing l was wish if you mentione app thats help you to learn more or practice
ReplyDeleteHello group H, this is Maya from group B. I really enjoyed reading your blog. However, I think that any program or application has both advantages and disadvantages. In one of your posts, you have mentioned Cambly which is an application for language learning through video chat or conferences. The application is great, but still there are some disadvantages of using it. The first being in how the learner should subscribe in order to have unlimited access to everything the app features or provides for the learner. For example, course catalogs. Yet, while there are also other disadvantages of cambly, there are also good features that Cambly provides for learners. As an example, Cambly allows its users to personalize their learning experience to achieve their English language goals. Moreover, the user is involved in the learning process and the app provides consistent feedback given by tutors to achieve learning goals. The application can motivate students, because the student is able to communicate with native English language speakers which, as a result, this can make learners more engaged. The app is user-friendly and provides clear and indicated menus and icons for easy navigation. In other words, learners can easily use the application for language learning.
ReplyDeleteThank you group H
Hello Group H , I am Sheehan Aljuaid from group B, I like how you talk about every program in detail and useful way <3
ReplyDeletePersonally, The Camply App the most app I use continuously, my favorite because It helps you to start the conversation with any topic you choose with the person who appears to you. For BBC, you mention that you can hear any lesson you choose but I am use it a while of time not any lesson you can find it, the search is limited. I will try the Duolingo by your recommendation.
Overall, Thank you a lot for all information you mention girls. <3
Hi, group H this is Nehal Abdullah from group C. I appreciate your efforts to explain to us these apps, but some of them have drawbacks, such as the lack of feedback. However, the Reddit program is very interesting and useful. However, we know all the programs have disadvantages and advantages as you mentioned in the Cambly app. Also, Cambly is a popular app that people use always to learn the language as fluent through the easiest way.
ReplyDeleteHello group H this is Renad Alghamdi from group B. I had a great time reading your blog. However, I believe that each tool or application has both benefits and drawbacks. You mentioned Cambly in one of your postings, which is an application for language study via video chat or conferences. In my experience , Cambly is a fantastic tool for learning a new language, in my opinion. Cambly's finest advantage is its adaptability; you may log in and get a teacher whenever you choose. Meeting individuals from all around the world and learning about other cultures without having to fly is a fantastic experience.
ReplyDeleteHello group H, this is Basma from group J. I really liked your blog, it's very amazing and awesome.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I liked all of the websites and the apps that you choose and all of them are very easy to use and very helpful for the students to learn in all ages. Also, besides learning any language you can make friends from all around the world by using it. Thank you for your work and keep it up.
Hello group H
ReplyDeleteI’m rahaf majed from group A,
What a great job you did in this blog, I really love the topic and the way you present these applications.
I love that you mentioned Reddit its a fun app not for learning but we can improve our reading with practice. The rest of the applications are good and well known, but unfortunately they need a payment subscription to get all benefits.
Thank you for your effort. Great work.
Hello group H
ReplyDeleteI’m Nouf from group A. Great job I really had great time reading your blog it’s useful, I agree that the applications you share with us it’s helpful to practice the language and helped develop some skills. I think each application have advantages and disadvantages, for example
I agree there is a lot of people they can't buy for some feature in the applications to learn target language, Yougils it great option for people who can’t buy, but the application don't give you feedback if your pronunciation is correct or not.
Thank you.
hi group h, this is alyaa from group (i), nice work! I would like to thank you on your great work, I just would've liked more apps that on every category,

ReplyDeleteHello group H , I’m Maram from groupJ.
Great job ππΌ,yes There are a lot of applications and websites to improve the language, for me was the (you tube )
I learn from you tube the pronunciation, grammar and spelling.
Hi group H this is Yara from group D, first, such an amazing blog very informative
ReplyDeleteyet easy to read. However, I believe that ''Duolingo'' is fun for kids but, I don't think advanced learners would enjoy it or consider it fun because of the repetitive words.
Hello group Hππ», this is Hanouf from group D, I really enjoyed reading your blog, it has a very rich information about applications that is very useful but some of them I haven’t tried it yet. Doulingo application is very helpful app for Learners to improve their skills and practice more. I agree with you about Cambly app, it’s a great and useful. It gives you access to talk to native English speakers over video chat which is very great way to practice and learn more about English language, and meet people from different cultures. But I think it has a disadvantage which is the time is not enough to learn a lot and the price is a bit expensive. Overall, thank you guys for this great job πππΌ.
